invitation only, access is a privilege, not a right, bear that in mind before
connecting with the sole intention of creating problems.

PJIRC Java applet:
This applet requires Java, if you don't have it you can download it from
Sun microsystems by following
this link.
This is the best applet as far as features go but doesn't exactly play nice
with firewall software, if you are behind a firewall you might find that the
CGI:IRC client below is a better choice for you...
For more information on this client, newer versions and information showing
how to use it on your own site, visit the author's distribution site at
http://www.pjirc.com.

CGI:IRC perl client:
This client does not require Java and should work on a wide range of browsers,
however it is CGI based and quite limited, it is also only tested on Firefox 2
and Internet Explorer 6, other browsers are not guaranteed to work (although it
should fall back to a basic interface in that situation)
This client does not make port 6667 connections so may work through your
firewall assuming your firewall supports the type of transfer used...
For more information on this client, newer versions etc. you can visit
its main distribution site at
http://cgiirc.org/.

mIRC and other similar clients supporting the irc:// URI format:
These clients (mIRC, xchat etc.) are obviously your best choice, click the
image to connect with such a client if you have one, otherwise use the
following connection details:
IRC Server: irc.pokenet.co.uk
IRC Ports: port 6667-6669 and 8888
IRC Channel: #mercyground
Nickserv and Chanserv are available (as are the other usual network services),
message an op if you have problems.
